As you know, I'm basically in trouble with keeping Stalag '99 up to date.  I'm pondering how to continue, with three-a-week's worth of comics.  I'm pondering doing weekly, but with a full page worth.

The upside is that I'm only cranking out one page.
The downsides are that I'm doing each page individually (little or no cut-paste-mod trickery some more "professional" comics do), you only get it once a week, and it's still black-and-white.

Also, I can't cleanly break layout just yet.  I want to break it after bringing in Cmdr AngelScent and bringing out Lt. Cmdr Alexandra "Alex" McHuge, while also furthering two background plots (one you may already know).

I do want some space though... but can't think of anything plot-neutral short of shoving in more news reports from the Canmephian News Feed.  And that's where you can help.

I'm looking for fake news stories, ones that you write.  They could be inspired by real ones, but remember -- you're 400 years into the future, so no names unless they're made up.  Post 'em here.

Sorry for all the downtime, folks.  A shift change has affected everything, and most of my time has been devoted to adjusting to it.  It's been hell just trying to get a ride to work...

...and I'm not feeling 100% to boot.

Real life has hit me hard like a lemon slice wrapped around a gold brick, so I need to drop work on Stalag '99 until I and my sister can smooth things out.

Yeah, I'm late on the Stalag '99's this week.  Hopefully I'll push the two strips out tonight and get the rest of the buffer filled on Sunday.

With Mom's pain scare, CES, MacWorld expo, and enough nuttyness in my neck of the woods, I'm canceling this week for Stalag '99.  Expect last Friday's comic up soon.

253 comics in the can, though.  47 until a new book gets released, or roughly 16 weeks.  Time to check my scripts.
